We hope you will be a part of Shine, the 35th Annual SchoolPower Dinner Dance, on February 8, 2020 at Montage Laguna Beach. It’s an incredible evening of dining, dancing and bidding on amazing silent and live auction items, all to enhance the educational experience of Laguna Beach students. Last year’s event grossed over $330,000 for Laguna Beach schools to support music, visual and performing arts, field trips, athletics, STEM, service learning, academic support, teacher grants, and more.
How to get involved:
Attend the event by contributing $1500 or more to our yearly Community Campaign. Your contribution includes two tickets to the dinner dance, as well as two Laguna Locals discount cards and the ability to designate 20% of your donation to a specific grade level, booster, program, PTA, or teacher. Your generous contribution will be viewed by over 300 guests at Montage Laguna Beach and by supporters participating via mobile bidding from anywhere in the world. Donors also receive recognition in our year-end Thank You spread in Laguna Beach Magazine and our emails to LBUSD families. If interested in donating an auction item, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Mobile bidding is accessible worldwide to all supporters who wish to participate in the auction, even if you cannot attend the event.
Guests attending the dinner dance will be asked to raise their paddles to fund a special initiative for LBUSD. If you are not attending, but would like to give your support, your online donation will help achieve the goal. Details about the 2020 Fund-a-Need to come. See past needs.
