Connect with LBUSD Families

For over 20 years, SchoolPower’s Student Directory has connected Laguna families to each other and to the generous local businesses that support our schools. Now LBUSD families have free access to the SchoolPower Student Directory App, as a gift from SchoolPower.

Get Started in the SchoolPower Student Directory App

App Overview

  • This app is listed in both Apple App Store and Google Play Store, and is optimized for your phone (not tablet)
  • The first parent or caregiver to sign up will be the primary account holder and will have the ability to update the family’s information at any time! (The primary account holder cannot search their own kids–go to “My Family” to see your students.)
  • To ensure the safety of every family’s data, we’ll confirm your status as a current LBUSD family before your account is activated.
  • Information in the app belongs to SchoolPower, and any changes to your family’s information are not shared with the district or school site. All changes to family information will be approved before they are visible to other users.
  • Your family’s information appears in the app if you opted in during annual data confirmation with LBUSD or if you add it when creating an account.
  • This is a Beta version of the Student Directory app. If you have questions or run into issues, please share with us to help improve the app for the future!

  • Search “SchoolPower Directory” to locate the app in the App Store or Play Store.
  • Download the app and create an account. You’ll receive a code via email. You will have 5 minutes to enter the access code.
  • Enter your student(s) information and household contact information.
  • You will receive an email from SchoolPower when your account has been approved. Account approval may take up to 3 days.
  • Once approved, sign into the application and search for any student that has opted to have their information in the directory application.
  • To view your family’s information, go to “My Family” at the top right side of the screen. From there the primary account holder can view/change/add siblings.
  • To search:
    • Enter the first and/or last name of a student.
    • And/or filter by School, Grade and Teacher (elementary only). Teacher filter is only available if parent has added to their student’s information.
  • Tap on student information to call, email or map an address.
