after school program

SchoolPower is excited to administer the after school programs at TOW and El Morro for the 2022-2023 school year. Families can choose from a robust selection of enrichment classes including free music and foreign language classes provided by LBUSD, plus fee-based sports, arts, and STEM classes curated by SchoolPower.

Registration for the Fall Session begins at 7:00PM on Tuesday, Sept 6 (TOW) and Thursday, Sept 8 (El Morro). Registration links will be posted below (select school site).

The after school program is available to elementary school students in grades 1-5. The 1-hour classes take place at your child’s elementary school following dismissal from the regular school day, Mondays through Thursdays.

Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 2:20 – 3:20
Wednesdays 1:20 – 2:20

Students enrolled in the after school program will be directed to their designated after-school classes at the end of the school day. Please pack a snack for your child, as snacks are NOT provided by the instructors. Bus transportation home is available for students with district bus passes.

We know registration can be a little stressful, so here’s a few things you should know:

  • The links to the registration portal will be published under the school sites on this page at the start of open registration.
  • Everyone is registering for the first time on our new registration portal, so calmly take the time to complete your account info and your children’s info before selecting classes.
  • Please make sure you are registering for the program at the school your child attends and classes for your child’s current grade level.
  • Click on the “Done” or “Selection Done” button on the Class Selection Page after you’ve selected your child’s classes before proceeding to the next step.
  • Once your items are in cart, you will see a 30 minute timer to select classes for siblings, set up your account password, and complete your transaction.

If a class is “Full”:

  • Before registration, plan on having 2nd and 3rd choices as your backups in case your 1st choice is full. Most classes will repeat in Winter and/or Spring sessions, so if you don’t get in this session, you can try again next session.  However, please note that we do not issue refunds if you change your mind after purchase.
  • Check back around 7:30 pm on the first night in case there are parents who didn’t complete their transactions. There are no guarantees here, so don’t count on it!
  • We check all registrations to make sure students are at the correct school and grade. If we do find those errors, those spaces will be made available the following Monday night (Sept 12) at 7 pm. After Monday, any registration corrections will happen without warning.

For questions or problems with registration, call the SchoolPower office at 949-494-6811 or email The SchoolPower office will be open from 7:00-8:00 pm on registration day.
