We miss gathering with our friends and supporters! SchoolPower events bring the community together with the common goal of supporting Laguna Beach students. Our events are currently on hold for the 2020-2021 school year, but we hope to see you again very soon. Stay safe!

Annual Gala

For the past 35 years, SchoolPower supporters have gathered to enjoy cocktails, dinner and dancing with the purpose of raising funds to support a district-led initiative. Cumulatively, these annual galas have raised millions and helped establish a wide range of enhancements for Laguna schools, including social emotional support services, a high school mentorship program, coding and digital literacy curriculum, and more.

Dodgeball Tournament

SchoolPower’s widely popular and intensely competitive Dodgeball Tournament brings together the entire community in the spirit of silliness and competition. Over 500 players, coaches, referees, scorekeepers and organizers rally each year to raise funds for our schools, and each champion team wins $500 in prize money to designate to a teacher or school program of their choice.

3 Clubs Barefoot Canyon Classic

Last year’s 3 Clubs Barefoot Canyon Classic & BBQ wasn’t in the cards, but we hope to kick off our shoes and hit the course with you in 2021. This sure ain’t your father’s golf tourney!

Please remember to support Hobie and The Ranch during this difficult time. We so appreciate their incredible generosity, underwriting event costs of the past four years of Barefoot Classic so 100% of proceeds could benefit SchoolPower.

Chef Challenge

Generously sponsored by Cary and Suzanne Redfearn of Lumberyard, this casual night out with friends, fellow parents and SchoolPower supporters is a hit year after year. Guests enjoy a three-course dinner, selected by the principals of the four Laguna schools and prepared by Lumberyard chefs, then vote for their favorite dishes. It’s a duel for the Golden Spatula!
